Looks like mine except mine are blue.

I got this info off of a google search for Paragon V-Drive Ratios
PV 31 - 1:1
PV 32 - 1.5:1
PV 33 - 2:1

I have the PV31.
Here's a few pictures when from when I replaced the engine.

Those pictures were taken back in 2006. Man, it's amazing how 4 years of marine environment will rust up somethings.

Rodman, does your engineface rearward? You know with the drive belts toward the stern end of the boat?

It must face rearward cuz the exhaust is heading toward the stern, hence the "V" drive. Was that the original configuration in these? Anyone?

Foofer,
Yes, the paragon V-drive was the original setup for the at least the 1972 F26 model. I don't think there were many changes between the 71 and 72 models. [/code]

The front of the engine faces the stern. Your engine faces bow doesnt it ?

I am currently in the process of installing a marine air conditioner so no more door mounted air conditioner. When done, I'll start a new post for that.

I have a Chrysler 318 225 hp with a 3 blade - 14x10 RH prop. FYI, she's no speed boat. Cruise is about 16 mph, top speed so about 22 mph at 4000 rpm. Chrysler wot is 4000 fyi. Your ford might be higher.

Yes, the ceiling of the cabin is all fiberglass. Or should I say, fiberglass-balsa core-fiberglass.

I think we have some nice boats. My f25 has the cloth on the ceiling. I like how ours have all fiber glass through out the galley.

Rodman,

Looking at the first picture in this post of your prop & strut, I noticed that you have the prop nut and the jam installed in reverse order. In this application the thinner jam nut should be installed first followed by the larger nut. When the last nut is installed and tightened, it takes the load off of the first nut installed and since the larger nut has more thread area its better suited to accept this load.
