Paul, not sure of where in Hampton your home port is but once in the bay, I calculated approximately 65 miles to the river, then another 15 or so miles to PK. 80-85 miles (Statute)

Does this seem right? If so, you will have a nice ride, bet you're getting Psyched for the trip. :)

It's about the same distance from Annapolis and DC, so I am hoping others venture down too.

I have the word going out to yacht clubs as well.

we'll be in Friday too, coming from Mobjack Bay we'll start out at the crack of dawn or when the Queen says I can throw the lines off. :P

Jamie I am thinking 65-70 nautical miles But that was a quick estimate

I've got 65 n.miles from Newpoint Comfort lighthouse on my plotter, But I do know I plan on being there before dinner say 1700 hr so most likely start out at hull speed and end up haulin' butt around Wolf Trap pt.
