Power Venter

Post by JPLLC »

I have a bad engine/bilge power venter motor on my 1979 SE28 Sedan. I used to hear the motor screaming but could never figure out where it was coming from. Now it's completely dead and I don't know how to get to it. Can anyone tell me how to get at this motor?

You'll most likely have to follow the hoses from the bottom of the bilge to the bilge blower motor, unless someone on here with a 28 can chime in.

We replaced ours... they were on the starboard side, mounted to the hull, behind the plywood wall that makes up the back of the dinette bench. Disassembly required :)
