It was nothing fancy as most boat yards are and a pool would have made it perfect ,even though the boss says she whats to stay at a nicer place next time were in St Mikes . Hopefully the next rendevous will be at a place with a pool .

Hint (pool)Hint (pool) on this get together also a Good resturant is a plus .

When are the round-ups usualy held? Pools don't seem to open till around Memorial Day.

The first Round up was Last year there is no usual time ( yet) Jammie started it . We ( well really Jamie and tony) are trying to get interest in it and find a place that would be convenient to the most boaters here on the bay That would really be interested in going .

The rendezvous is usually done in August or July I will post info when I get it . This was start by a guy name Jerry then Kent took over . I really don't expect confirmed info until early spring

I think Paul is on to something, I'm all for traveling we just did 250 miles but we need to meet where most of us can get to in a day at cruising speed of a gasser (most of us have them Paul  ) say 15 kts. and that's mid bay. And pickin a place that will be able to take us and put up with us  And that vote from me is Kinsale but I'm still open, And Mem-day weekend would work for me....

Well if this is going to be an annual event then may I suggest that it gets broken up to where one year the northern people take the longer trip and the following year the southern people do the longer trip. As far as considering the people in the Chesapaeke Bay area. Just my -2cents worth!

There has been a Trojan Rendezvous for years and it has always been to the northern part of the bay most the time in the Rock Hall area then at St mikes the north of rock Hall ( sassafras river ??? ) .
I think the Idea of a mid bay Round up where its not to bad of a run from all points . Doing it south one year and north one is fine but very few will go the distance . I not sure how many will even go to one mid bay as it maybe to far for many . I know of 6 boats that wanted to go to the 2009 Rendezvous but did not . Why because it was to far , and the were 50 miles away or less . OK Rant is over .

Just using what I have seen with the Rendezvous and believe we will see the same on the round up

We should also look at the fees that a lot of the northern and mid bay places charge.I'll go the 100 miles and spend the gas money but I hate being ripped off by marina fees. Which can end up as much as the gas. And if Maryland enacts its graywater regs its looking at doing I'll pass.

I was thinking they have a Rendevouis in the uper part of the bay each year so we should Do the round up mid to lower Bay I am lower bay as is Tony but mid bay is no issue , I would not mine port Kinsale again , Good people , good food not over priced and a pool

It has been hard to get people to the Rendevous in the upper bay not easy on the round up mid bay . Sometimes I thing people don't use there boats .

Gray water law ? I hope not

I plan on using our boat. I heard that the Solomons is a nice place. I've never been there so what's the opinion of those who have?
