At last the spring has arrived. Temp is just above freezing point, and it is raining. Well, it´s better than snow. Weather forecast tell stories about nice and warm weather from the coming week-end. And my body feels good enough to continue the work on my Trojan. So today I went to the boat, and sat down aboard with a cup of coffe. Just looking around to see what to do as a next move. First thing I saw was the ugly, homemade instrument panel. I want a new one, was my first thought. Is there anyone here on the forum who have one, or know where to get one? I mean the black top mounted on top of the white fibreglass pod.....

On Friday the first coming I will have a crane here, and we will lift the engines into the engine bay. I have got new propeller shafts, with new Polyfiber spacers to put between gearbox and shaft (just to eliminate noise and vibration in drivetrain), new propellers, new waterheater, new Webasto cabin warmer, new battery charger for 220 Volt, new pipes, pumps and toilette, so at the end of Easter I think my Trojan would be ready for dipping in...!

But I want a new instrument pod!

For you who dont know: I´ve got 5 new vanes on my heart. 6 weeks ago.... They took out the whole "ticker", connected my body to a heart and lung machine, and replaced 5 venes on the heart . Today I feel like a 20 year guy, running around. But doctors tells me to take it easy, no stressing, and to be patient for the first two months..... Hahh....take it easy... 8)

When my ex-wife came home after one of those shopping sprees she would ask "Did you miss me" I would reply" Yeah...but my aim is getting better all the time" Ha! Ha! Ha!

Oookay! OK Foofer, I will put in some pics from the boat. In the end there was the story about the boat, and not the ill (sick) person. Maybe tomorrow......
