We were always real antsy to get out on the boat to fish or cruise. Hence our boat name, "Reel Antsy" but with a play on words.

I play darts compettitvely
this may come as a shock but...I am a roofer/ sheet metal worker, I have been known to tip back the odd pint, and apparently I am quite good at it! lol
I do enjoy working on boats engines, I have a firm called fivebucksabag.com I also run a successful snowplowing operation in the winter months
thats about it for me, I also have yet to hear if anyone likes ... aquahaulic ...
ubawtawut .... and the possible frontrunner..... inconceivable ... As in with a trojan, conceptin is not possible!

It is original, it isn't cutsey/fartsey , I have never heard nor seen it and it has special meaning to you and your wife. Inconcievable is kinda out there- doesn't really do much for me.

I probably know Dave better than any of you now, just in the short time I have known him. You won't meet a better and caring person.
He has been encouraging and helpful more than I can say.
He is being modest when he says " I play Darts"
He is actually a champion Dart player, at the local, provincial and national level.
I have watched him put back a few, be a bit tipsy and still hit bulls-eye after bulls-eye on the dart Board.
I have seen him put aside his work on his boat to drop everything and help someone else.
He loves his boat, his darts, his beer, his wife, and his dog. (not neccesarily in that order)

One name I overlooked was "for her pleasure", liked it but wasn't sure how I would explain that one to my 8 year old daughter. Another thought was to paint it black with a gold stripe and call it "magnum"" due to its girth.
With the tipsy dart comment, "One Eye Open" may work for you....

I'm leaning towards UBAWTTAWUT guys...you had to see how p**sed she was when I told her I had bought a boat! Then she found out it was a 36 ft boat it was "what have you done"
Always figured it is easier to beg forgiveness than ask permission, although now I have a place to sleep when it backfires... (see appendix "b" dave bought a race car!)

I go with,,,,,, "UBAWTTAWAT ". It will have people scratching their heads, and when they are able to ask,,,,you'll have a great answer for them. A boat is a personnel thing, and the name should represent the owners.
We bought our first boat in the fall and the family had many discussions all winter, each with a new name that the others turned down. Finally our son says "Why don't we call it Can't Decide? I asked why. He said "Cause that's the last thing we say after every one of these discussions, we can't decide." My wife said "Great." I shook my head. That name went on to the next boat as well. When we would check into another marina for the night and when they asked the name of the boat they would reply "Oh you don't have a name for it yet." Never saw another boat with the name.
Dave - you gotta name it for you... not for anyone else. Others might float ideas, but it has to be a name that really resonates with you.
Just on the topic of creative boat names, used to be a trawler at our marina named "Mist..." (and the dots were part of the name). Everyone always figured it had to do with the owners liking the idea of slowly plodding along on a misty morning... Eventually found out the owner was a gynecologist, and the name really meant " missed three periods "
Don't know if that adds a couple of votes to "UBAWTTAWAT"...
One test for the name though : when someone hails you on the VHF, or you hail someone else, protocol dictates that you repeat the name of the boat three times.... so try that out with whatever name you pick. Try saying it three times quickly and see if it hurts to say or to hear! Also remember this : if you ever have an emergency situation, the name will get a lot of air play... don't pick something too embarrassing (using wowzer's examples, calling Mayday Mayday Mayday, Hope it burns, hope it burns, hope it burns... might not get you too much help).
On THAT note, I once saw a boat the a the owner bought during the month of May... the doofus called it "May Day"... some people just don't get it...
