hello, I'm new to this site and could use some advice.
I inherited a 72 Trojan f30 with twin 318's last summer and am having problems with my temp gauges. This is what has been done so far. I shorted the terminals at the sender to verify if the gauge was defective ( the gauge seems ok) so i ordered Dual station senders from Sam's marine and installed them and the gauges still do not work.
The gauges and the senders are the original AC Gauges that were installed back in 72.
any help would be greatly appreciated
temp sender issue's

Guages
I believe the sending units for the AC guages are specific to the AC guages. The AC guages operate backwards from most guages. When you short a guage from most manufactures they read the highest temp or pressure they are rated for. The AC guages read o when shorted. I believe Beacon sells the correct sending units for the AC guages.

The sending unit's i bought were the correct dual station sender's for the Ac guages, but for some reason the still do not work. I'm just wondering if there could be some kinda electrical fault somewhere as neither motor temp gauge work. This has to have happened to someone else i would think.
anyways does anyone know where i can get replacement gauges for a dual station application (upper and lower gauges and a sending unit)
