I too have been saved many times in all modes of transportation by the instrument scan. I have not been PIC in about 15 years. As I got older, I decided that boats are a little more forgiving than airplanes and my wife did not like to fly with me all that much but enjoys the boat emensely so you know how the chain of command goes there.

I had a fully restored 56 17' Chris-Craft sportsman before I bought my F-32 Trojan so I also like old wooden boats.

My favorite WWII airplane is the F4U Corsair and my favorite Vietnam era plane is the F4-Phantom.

I think you probably have quite a few hours as PIC on me.

I thank you for your service to our country and defending what she stands for.
