I have one... no odour at all. It is vented using a 12V computer fan which I have connected directly to my house battery (inline fuse). (odour is caused by mixing of liquid and solids which is not done by this head)
For 2 users it only requires changing the solids every 6 months... spend the money to buy the better peat moss as the base compost media.... don't overfill it, it looks like it should need more base media.

Here it is installed in an F32

Thanks... I put two ports in the dinette side also to give a good crossflow of air... really helps during winter storage up here.

I increased the diameter of the vent for the holding tank which I removed. It was below the rubrail and inside the port side hanging cupboard in the V berth.

Gotcha. Trojan looks real nice as well.

This whole composting head thing has me curious. I have a few options for re-plumbing the sinks and shower sump. I either have to install grey water holding or plumb the grey water into the black water holding. We have no overboard discharge here, and I actually have to have my thru-hulls plugged and inspected in order to launch, the only exceptions are intake/exhaust and bilge water. A composting head adds a new twist to the options available to me.

Anyone deal with having to plumb in grey water holding? The last F-32 had dual blackwater holding tanks and a macerator. Used to pump from one tank to the other then out thru the deck[plate. Not sure I want to go back to that setup.
