Wiper motor & arm assemblies
Good evening everyone
I just became a new member so I hope you'll be gentle on me since I'm a virgin to this trojan club. I own 1996 390 express Trojan & I decided to investigate why my wipers weren't working. Well it wasn't pretty, they were all seized in their enclosed pockets under the windshield. When I bought this boat it also didn't come with the wiper arms. Does anybody have any suggestion on were to find some(motors & arms)?
Thank you in advance
Pete

Welcome aboard Pete !!!
There are a few members here from the GTA, myself am up at Scarborough Bluffs CBYC along with another member here Rooferdave
There is also a member down in Burlington.
As for your wiper motor and arms, you could always contact the owner of this site, Beacon Marine, ..Bob has everything, or knows where to get it as far as Trojans go.
There will be probably a few other great folks chime in with alternative suggestions as well.
Again...Welcome Aboard

Welcome to the forum and the Trojan Family
Check with Bob at Beacon . however that is a Carver Built boat so you maybe able to get them from Carver .But I don't see a problem as the wiper arms are pretty universal for moat boats .

wiper problem
Gentlemen (& ladies)
Thank you, for your kind words & acceptance as a member. I once received an advertisement from Beacon. I think you may be right about selling parts for the older style( no offense) Trojan's. I wonder if Carver retained the same parts into the later years. It seems the arms have to be specific hole size & style( there not round). I'm currently & regrettably docked at Port credit Harbour Marina. Anyways thank you again, I hope we come up with a solution.

wiper arms & motors
Thanks Wayne
I'm about to shot some pictures back to Jamie Keetch, He his the Director of parts for Carver. He mentioned that they do have a huge assortment of parts still left over from the buy out. The problem is that there not # & labeled on shelves, so it's more a show & tell (& a long wait). I appreciate the offer Wayne, I might need the numbers off the Motors & can you see the name of the manufacture of the arms? If this all fails, I will have to create my own setup.
Thanks again
Pete

Kidding aside, it's the information, or someone that has the information to share that makes this forum so great.

OH MY GOD!!!! That is beautiful, I can't thank you enough. I hope these parts or part # didn't change over a year or 2 in production. I'll copy & paste to my buddy at Carvers & see what he comes up with.
