seems to me a fair and non-bias way would be a poll...of the nominees...not one person sayin' who they are and who was our pick....but then again I'm the non-Trojan boater.....

Like I said its not really a vote , per say . Thats why I ask why the person should be boater of the year .( and it keeps thing interesting ) Most likely the one that is chosen by more folks will win . But if someone had the most , but did nothing for the site or boaters , then the "Judge" reserves the right to chose someone else . ( not with out consulting some others ) . BTW I do see this happening but all the trolls and spamers it could ( most are removed before you see them )

Our current, 2010 Trojan Boater of the Year was elected through a standard process of nominations (with supporting arguments) and then open voting ...

Did we elect a judge? Must have missed that one.

Being done exactly like it was the first year (2009) when I started it , same winner date too . Last year the "standard process of nominations" was something you came up with . you changed the the dates too .

I started it , thats why I happen to be the "Judge" (Someone has to over see it) thats why it went back to the way it was . I thought about a pannel But that would take away some top choices . jugde may be the wrong word , but thats the way its .

Let me just say that this was some that I started . the prize I paid for . and Ross you sure did not have a issue with this when you won .
I would glad to just forget about it .
