My plan with the stripper is to wait until my two workers piss me off (believe it or not it seems to happen alot!) and we are going to have a bottom stripping party all day long! For only $250 in material I should be entertained for the entire day!

If not Soda, might as well break out the random orbit sander and get after it. I also have air chisels but only use on metal, and it is quite effective breaking spot welds etc, but what was on my boats bottom was just a veneer of various colors, no edge to get under. Besides I am too old and lazy to work that hard, leave it up to Jeff for hard work.

Well the guys sheared the top off my 4 month old $350 electric trailer tounge jack when they left the tailgate of my truck down while backing the trailer up! (I destroyed the first one when they "disconnected" the trailer but not the chains and told me to pull forward !)
I believe the bottom paint will be stripped soon!!!!!!!!!

sounds like someone will be getting fired soon "too"
LOL. So I had the guys work on a 10ft section of the bow today. I could actually see this stuff working if you left it on longer but after rebuilding the busted jack for two hours I decided to have them scrape it after 4 hrs. alot of paint came off but there is still more. I may try spraying it then putting light weight poly over it to keep it wet. (saw someone do it on utube). A powerwasher would help alot but It would have taken some of the amusement out of it for me today!
