Sure can tell Boating Season has begun

Post by Torcan »

The postings here have dropped off, most people I guess are busy getting things ready for Launch.

I miss the many postings, it is my daily fix. Best drug out there.

Post slow down

Post by TADTOOMUCH »

Don't worry, the posting will pick back up when people launch their boats and find all kinds of things that don't work that did last year or they finally get around to doing the projects they have put off for a few years. By mid May things will be busy here again on the forum.

Anyone know a cheap source for impellers for twin Chrysler 360's with a Sherwood G-7a raw water pump. SH 10615 K part number. Best I've found is $25.00 each.

They are putting my newly-rebuilt carbs back on today, installing the three new batteries, reconnecting all of the fresh water system and pressure testing it, and tomorrow at 1pm CDT she goes splash! This has been an expensive winter season so hopefully I won't find too many more things that need to be fixed.

I usually take my iPad aboard and check the forum daily.

Congratulations On The Splash Date

Post by TADTOOMUCH »

Congratulations,

It is always an awesome feeling when you fire up the engines and pull away from the launch each year. Much better feeling than any anti-depressant.

Hope you have a trouble free season and make your way up to South Haven this year.

I will keep a lookout for you.

Launch day is Saturday, just hope to get the pin stripe finished and top side of the rub rail caulked before the 3pm launch. :)

My kids are all over me to get it in the water to go for a ride! I cannot wait, its been a good winter. Looking forward to seeing the new canvas on Saturday. Ragman called today and said it was all installed and looked EXCELLENT. I will post pictures this weekend.

Cheers to the 2012 Season, which might be my last on the Great Lakes.
Aaron
