i'm curious,kind of frustrating
so your up to 1077 post now probably hard to keep up with them all. a few posts ago you wanted to know about battereries and invertor. i think i had given some good advise on adding up what your needs were before buying. you said i'll run some numbers.wondered if you ever did in order to come up with 6 golf cart bstteries. and now your commenting on the cost of some glass and resin. i'm thinking as i stated before you could see what yours needs would be and then buy the batteries. can you post what you came up for your battery needs? my guess is you probably could have save a couple hundred bucks on your purchase and that would have paid for your 2 windows your fiber glassing in. my point is you ask for some help, good advise is given and then you complain later on costs. rebuiding a boat as it appears your doing is really going to add up and if you waste money on things you didnt need it will just be that much worse. since i dont know any of your numbers yet for your battery needs maybe you need 6 but i bet 4 would have been plenty since you basically commented it was just for a day most of the time. and heck you really might have only needed 2. thats even some more dollars for something else. its your boat spend all the money you want. my earlier post,.. just trying to help , this one... curious.

now come on was that post really needed ? I would assume if someone asks something and gets a response good for you, but to go on about how someone got the advice and did not take it is just childish. sorry I hijacked the post . lifes to short to p*ss and moan

Its ok T-Man thanks! Lets see if I can handle this pleasantly.

Topic # 1- G36 your advice on the inverter was great and very helpful and I am using it. If I didn't thank you before I truley apologzie for that, I do beleave I did though. The inverter project is still on going. I have been planning it on bad weather days and crappy feeling days along with a couple other projects. I have alot of numbers but I am still missing a few that I beleave may be heavy draws, I havent been able to get to the store to see the # stickers yet and I have not purchased these items yet ( 16 inch in-wall mount circulation fan for cabin- 150 to 200 watt music system amplifier plus the radio- single stove top,110) Im missing these #s so there is no reason to ask you for help yet. The inverter system is a large project just like my motor project. I bounce around alot, its just my nature. You maybe correct about 4 batteries. To me its looking like 6 to be safe. without having to rebuild a box later or add batteries that are not of the same age. I have read many times thats its not a good idea to add batteries down the road, but I also respect your opinion. Im working on it, im putting alot on this system. Be patient with me if you can or if I dont piss you off with what im about to say in the next 2 topics of your 3 topic post.

Topic #2- I have seen several people here complain about cost of resin and glass work, so what I whined a little, again my nature. I also read a few people talk about how to do it right and how they see alot of patch jobs etc, so I felt they might like to know IMO, what and how much it would take to do it corectly. Resin and glass is very over priced like many other things IMO. There is no point what so ever in installing one single wire or any electronic component in this cabin untill these large holes a filled and weather proofed, so its being done now. Designing electrical system indoors on bad days. structure work on good days. Makes sence to me. Hell im building a motor, remodling half my house, and restoring a 1933 Ford model B street rod for my eye doctor right now as well. Boat is getting alot of attention. Again be patient with me if I havent pissed you off, but I think Im about to.

Topic #3- My posting status is of NONE of your concern! The only way to fix it now is to NEVER make 1 single post for the next 3 years. That is unrealistic! I have made my apologizes to the forum, slowed down and moved on away from the subject. I know where to find my post and questions and I have my notebook hand written with the answers I like, It has your name in it alot as well, obviously I appreciate your help! My finances and how much I want to spend on what items, is none of your concern either. That is between my wife and I. I apreciate your concern. Although we dont care If this boat cost 20 grand to rebuild, It will be paid for and exactly what we have wanted for a very long time! Thats all we care about. So can we move on now? I dont beleave I was anymore forward than you were in the post, hopefully I explained it well and plesantly as I possibly can.

k9th wrote:"Got-r-done"
 Unfortunatly as much as I like it, there is a boat in my Marina that has "git-R-done" dunno why he has it. Funny tho. :P

You guys are a trip!! Although the "book Keeper" has already named her "Rubber Guppy" first part "Rubber"= "Trojan" second part "Guppy" well this is where im going to catch man hell!! It has to do with owning such a small boat, the Bayliner!!! she calls me Capt Guppy... Ok so let the jokes fly!!!  Shes a kinky woman, she says the people that know us will understand. I think its clever :P BTW now that the warm weather is here, Im going to paint the boat name in the next few weeks. I just want to do it, its free to me and its easier to tape off this area for over spray when I paint the boat. Verses covering the intire boat to just do the name work in the end. Its alot of paint in a small area and i've just been wanting to do it. If it gets scrached i'll just be pissed. Amandas design looks to be about 60 hours air brush work. Im ready! Windows are being filled now, not finished but filled. Side damage area and boat name area are ready to prime, trying to save material $. Windows will be next, the entire upper section of this boat is cracked all to hell. Lots of grinding and light glassing to do before priming, she has been slammed around alot over the years!! Tons of holes to fill from buttons for canvas work. Torcan??? Look what I learned to do!!!
