10 meter anchor windlass
Installed a Lewmar Pro series 1000 on the boat this week. Was not that hard to do, boat was wired from the factory. Removed the hatch cover for the anchor locker and installed 3/4" starboard with a backer from pulpit to bulkhead. Removed the mirror on the forward bulkhead and put in a 8"x12" sealed hatch to access locker. Will be replacing the old mirror with new with hinged mount for access. Will try to post pics if I can figure it out.

Dennis,
I would be interested in seeing both the mirror and access hatch if it's not too much trouble.
I've done some wiring on my windlass all of it hanging my head upside down in the locker. It must be so easy going in through behind the mirror. I'm going to remove my pulpit this fall so I can re-core it. I'll install a hatch first to make the wiring easy.

Tom - thanks. I might have missed that post before. Strange, it looks like some of the mid cabins came with a smaller mirror which provides access to the locker. Yours looks like it's from the factory.... do you know?
Mine has a larger mirror but nothing behind it. I will definitely put this on my winter list.
