Exhaust Manifold Replacement

Post by abkeywest »

Happy Ney Year All :D

I am replacing the exhaust manifolds and elbows on my twin 1983 Crusader 270's. Would anyone know the torque specs for the manifold bolts and the 12 point elbow bolts?

Thanks

The manifold to head bolts are 25ft. lbs. I believe. Tighten evenly at about half that value, then finish up at 25.

Not sure about the elbow bolts for specs. I usually tighten evenly and double check for any leaks afterwards.
