hey guys, just wanted to share with you all a few pics from my brief layover on sunday into monday. every once in a while a great trip comes open for cabin crews to pick up. this one i could not resist, even though day 3 is a killer---(0500 report in hotel lobby in boston to fly boston-philly-chicago-philly <sit for 2.5hrs> then last leg to dc) day one had us arriving into montego bay, jamaica at 2150, departing the next day at 1000 local. the first thing i did was shed my uniform (once i got to my room) and don my favorite pair of board shorts and a t-shirt then headed to the beach for a late night swim in the caribbean. it was still 82 degrees at that time with a slight breeze from the west. i felt not only invigorated after a long day of flying, but i actually FELT OKAY. which, in the long run, i will take any day of the week considering. after a fitful night sleep, i got dressed then headed to the resort cafe to meet my crew for breakfast then head to the airport.
the view from our table was calming and spectacular. a great way to start the day. looking at the palm trees, feeling the cool morning trade wind breeze and the sound of the birds, i thought to myself, ''i'd love to have a grand banks docked here.'' just thought i'd share some tropical pics with you guys in hopes that spring will finally get here.
