Yeh. Seems reasonably priced for its capacity. You gonna order one up?

I just checked on the same webasto 16k unit at west marine. with my port supply wholesale pricing I can get it for $1412.99 (1569.99 regular west marine price)and no shipping for store pickup. I was getting ready to order one tonight from defender before the sale ends but if that's my regular price at west marine I may wait until I get my credit card paid down a bit first since the "burning plastic smell" coming from my wallet is getting pretty bad! LOL!

I feel ya. I got a grand in ignition components in boxes on my dinette right now. I'm just waiting for a rainy morning to go play with the timing light.

Look around. I think that if you like thw Webasto unit, you'll do just fine with it. They make all kinds of stuff. Its all pretty good. I have a Webasto sunroof unit inmy 1979 280E Mercedes and it works great and doesn't leak. I have seen heating units in 60's and 70's VW busses that work great 40 years later. They make good stuff.

Call Fisheries Supply and see what they have on sale for 16k BTU models. You never know, maybe they will have something that will work for you without causing plastic meltdown.
