Question on Yellowed Light Covers In Cabin

Post by Lean Wolf »

Has anyone ever tried to find replacement light covers for the big cabin lights (10 3/4 x 10 3/4) in the ceilings of older Trojan's? I am renovating the boat and don't like the yellowed look they have. I thoughts about trying to spray paint them but do not think that the light would shine through them if I do this. Any thoughts for me?

Why not something like this? Just replace the existing lamp.

Edit: Just realized the complete dimensions of your lamps...not the like the usual F series. Sorry.

First, check the Trojan Boat Store on this site. Then under Trojan Hardware. I think what you looking for is on the bottom of the first page. If not, then you can pick them up at just about any RV store. I've bought them from http://www.brambillasinc.com/

not sure if your lights are similar to the ones on the meter boats. this place is close to me and I've seen these in person. they are almost an exact replacement to the original. If I dont upgrade to led I plan on buying these just for the white lens .

Thanks Todd. I saw those too and may use them to replace the smaller lights on my boat. I am actually looking for lense covers to replace the original larger light covers that were on there. The outside diameter of the light bezel is 10 3/4 by 10 3/4. The actual lense size is 9 7/16 x 9 7/16.
