Quick intro

Post by CaptG »

Hi all, new to the forum, but not Trojans. I have a '76 F32 express that I have had for 18 years now. It is used as a charter boat and wife and I spend many nights on it. We have decided to move up to an 11 meter international. I have been reading all the posts on here concerning internationals and have learned a lot. I am sure that I will have some questions as we get closer to making the switch.

Express. I want the extra stability and I have a draw bridge that is not manned until 7:00 a.m. on weekdays. Non-bridge boats are filling coolers with fish from the early bite while I am in line waiting for the bridge tender to arrive.

I think you'll love the 11 meter, especially the size, with its' 14 foot beam. I'd opt for a diesel if you can find one. But either way, it's a great boat.

I have seriously considered diesels, but with charter guests and slow trolling I am a bit concerned with fumes. Any feedback from you guys that have diesels and trolling?
