Figured out why my Head wouldn't flush***PICS inside***

Well i got it back together and it is definately has tons of compression now. I took a few pics of it.
I painted the wheel housings to prevent rust. This color was what I had handy. Looks nice I think

No, not yet. I can get it to run ok by hot wiring the coil but that's only for emergency use (the wife wants something blended or mocrowaved) but it's on the list for this winter. I have quite a number of things to work on this month. That is top on the list now that the head is fixed.

The head you have is a Mansfield Vacuflush System. Mansfield was bought by Land Sea. The toilets are the same and Land Sea parts fit the Mansfield.

It is in fact SeaLand and now part of Dometic Corp, OH...

head hoses

A buddy of mine just had a similiar problem . He pulled the hose from the head to the holding tank and found it encrusted with salt deposits, Choked the diameter down to about three eigths replaced the hose and the toilet pumped fine . Original hose from 1985 . This was the second problem of this nature on the dock this summer.

Luckily I'm on fresh water so I don't have those issues but I definately understand the frustration. Mine is working now, but still not as good of a flush as the front head.
