Trans Fluid Change - What To Use?

Question is: boat has Velvet drives 72Cs, previous owner used Universal Tractor Fluid C3/4 spec. Manual says ATF, UTF or SAE 30 can be used …what is best?

ATF Dex III. 30 SAE is for slow turning rpms.

Thanks Todd. I have been debating switching to ATF, I already carry some on board for the dripless shaft reservoirs.
