the last of the tacky nautical theme upholstery is gone, when we bought the boat, the sofa, the chair cushions, the curtains and the bulkhead panels in the forward cabin and the dinette had this white dirty nautical motif fabric, I have gradually replaced them all, this weekend, the curtains are finally gone. My wife is excited that we are to the point that we can replace the stuff you see and not ruin it with another project.
Hello Gettaway,
I came across your posts about your built in sofa and was wondering if you had any plans or drawings you would be willing to share.I have been trying to figure out what I could do to make it easier to access the port engine on my '78 F-32 and I think your idea is perfect! I'm also curious as to what kind of wood you used. Any info would be much appreciated. Great job on the re-fit!
Thanks, George
Don't mean to resurrect and old thread... (But at least I am using the SEARCH function!)
This is an amazing idea for the sofa. I have an old futon that will just make it in there, but yes, I dread having to move it to access the engine compartment. I dont think I'll have time to manage this right now, but I am saving this thread for the future.
I am curious how well you have access to the sliding lockers. is that what the hinged doors are for on the back rest?
