Gasket question

I'm replacing the riser and end cap gaskets on my 360 chryslers. fresh water cooled
In the kit came two smaller gaskets that are oval in shape.Anyone know where they go.

not sure about your Chryslers but the ones for the crusaders come with a 5 inch end cap gasket and a small gum rubber gasket/thick o ring that seals the single bolt that holds the cap on.
bolt goes through end cap, then small gasket then large end cap gasket.
Sorry if there not similar but figured id try to help just in case they were.

318s which are the same log manifold have a copper or brass pipe that runs the length of the manifold internally, it has 6 or so 1/4 in holes in it to distribute water equally. It might be used under the end cap in the center of the larger gasket. www.marineparts.com you can see an exploded view of all the parts and you might find out for sure.
