Holding Tank

Post by larryeddington »

What is the best place to purchase or have made a new holding tank for my tri-cabin? It is 30Lx22Wx14H should be about 40 gallons. I want one that uses a dip tube from the top for clean vacuum.

I have had good luck with Ardemco. They will put the fittings where you want them. You should think about putting in 2 vents while you are having a new tank put in. I like 2 1" to 1 1/2" vents, one going to each side of the boat. It will get more oxygen into the tank and help control the anerobic smells.

If it comes via truck freight, inspect it very very carefully before signing for it. Unwrap it, use a flash light, look at the bottom -- everything. Can you tell I've had experience in this matter?
I needed a less expensive hobby, so I bought a boat!
