replacing flax of rudder shaft

I have 1975 trojan 25ft boat does anyone know the proper size of the packing for the rudder post. Thank you.

what size is the rudder shaft ?

1" uses 1/4" packing
1 1/8" shaft uses 3/16" packing
1 1/4" shaft uses 1/4" packing
Boating is good for the soul
