I have a '76 F36 tri-cabin w/helm up top. There is an access panel in the back of the wall cabinet over the stove to the chain adjustment. there is a turn-buckle w/locknut to adjust the chain. May want to check your gear cog at the bottom to make sure the bearing housing bolts are tightened before adjusting the chain...don't over-tighten! Good luck!

My 77 f28 that is going to dump had chain drive. There is a panel in the shower/head side that comes off, Also there are screws reachable from the head side that allows the housing under the instruments. Once it is out of the way there are turnbuckles that can take up the slack and lubricate the chain.
