I know some people live for "Throwback Thursday"... I am more of a "frick it Friday" kind of guy... so in that spirit decided I have to share this picture!
With some of the posts recently about people renovating or rebuilding or restoring their rides, thought I would post this to show people had the same fever years ago!!!
I really forget the year (somewhere between 1967 - 1969), and it's either a 28' or 30' hull, but the owner "converted" it from a normal Sea Skiff or Sea Voyager model in to an AFT CABIN configuration!!!! Think it is a Sea Voyager based on the planked (vs lapstrake) hull.
The boat's name is Gemini. My parents knew the owners waaaaay back in the late 1970's / early 1980's when the conversion was done. One of these days I hope to hook up with current owners and get a tour, and see if I can take some pics to share!
This pic was pulled from the newsletter of their yacht club, and was taken this past fall when the boat was being hauled out for winter storage.
