That's the way i do it......throttles and trans with rudders midships.........I was new to twins when I got my F30 but have learned to get in and out pretty good......the challenge for me is when the wind is blowing the tide is running.....haven't broke anything yet............John

well with me comming back on one moter ive gotten pritty good at docking my 30' with one moter (either moter)and i havent hit or broken anything yet i cant wait to use two moters my marina is at the end of a 2 mile lagoon no curent to speek of but we do have a constant south wind bow points west when docked

I dont need a springer very often at this point (once this year backing into my N/S slip with a 30kt. W wind. but for someone learning, I suppose it would help. I went to twins from a single, and to me it was like the sky opened up and angels were singing. I think I even had a tear in my eye the first time I backed into the slip. In my mind, you would have a hell of a time going from twins to a single. ( I took out a friends single this spring and docking it was like getting into a fist fight with one arm ripped off.) I suppose everyones happy with what there used to.
