I'll get the one I ordered from Jimini also when he comes back. I'm looking forward to getting this one now. Rotating pennants isn't a bad way to go-hey, we have more than one shirt, don't we?

Penants

Post by TADTOOMUCH »

So has anyone heard from Jimini or Rickalan35 about their penants? It's been quiet on this subject. Hope all is well with Jimini.

The curse of the trojan pennant, you take orders then place your order and then you are never seen again . I think aliens are involved . or mabe a club of non trojan boat owners( with no pennant to call their own)

You mean to tell me, I went and bought a Trojan so I could buy a pennant and there isn't any?

Hey, just be thankful it wasn't a scam where you all sent money in and were taken like fools! :(

Seriously though, I'm sure Jimini will show back up with an explanation...I'm sure he feels bad about the timing. Wasn't there mention that he was ill? Ain't no Burgee worth one's discomfort.

Hopefully he has recovered or is in the process of recovery and we'll hear from him in the near future. :D

Re: Trojan Pennants.

At the outset, I purchased two nice, local, double sided polysester/nylon blend, embroidered, marina pennants
and used them as examples of the design and quality desired for the Trojan Pennant I ordered manufactured.

I spoke with the people at Weso on Monday and let them know that I'd like a prototype done off in a "timely" manner and they indicated that they would attend to that for me.

We currently have a long list of those indicating that they would desire a pennant should one become available. As these are being done at my cost it's really of no consequence to me if someone wants to remove their name from the list.

A shot across the bow

Post by TADTOOMUCH »

I think a shot across the bow of those Sea Ray owners will give em a scare. I mean a shot of tequila of course.

Any idea on when the company will make the Trojan pennants, Rickalan? I'm still in the hunt, both with you and Jimini. I did put up State of Ohio (not OSU Buckeyes, although I did shake the hand of Woody Hayes once, while the other hand was pouring Ripple over his head!) pennant to hold down the fort until the real pennant(s), Trojan, can proudly wave there.

Hi David,

I told them I'd like a sample pennant done for next week and they're going to try there best. These pennants will not fit their automatic machine and will all be handsewn. They have some neat older ladies working there and the pennants are a nice change of pace for them. They specialize in high end baby clothes.

So, next week I'll be inquiring as to their progress. I think that we all want them for THIS SEASON.

Thanks for asking
