I never knew Trojan to have manufactured in glass back in 1969 (my father's 28 Sea Skiff was all wood), but here you go :

They have gazillions of original brochures they can scan / digitize and send you. Doug Dawson's family has been in the boating business for generations, and during the time they owned/operated a marina in Ontario they were also a Trojan dealer.

The cabin side looks like the 69 -71 style. If it was a light blue on the lower part of the sides its a 69. Dark blue 70, and white 71

The 25' sea raider was the first fiberglass hull made by trojan. Yours may actually be the first, if it has a prototype hull number.
The 25 and the 30 were introduced in 69 and the 36 tricabin also fiberglass hull and wood everything else later that year. But they never called the tricabin a sea raider.

His is not the first. I also recently picked up a 1969 25' only mine is a hardtop express. I say his is not the first because mine has Hull I.D. number 2109083. Also, just curious about your hull, you mentioned wood cored fiberglass? Mine is solid fiberglass with no wood core. Wood stringers, and basically everything but the hull, but the hull is for sure only solid fiberglass.
Also I have the original engine owners manual, and it does not look like they offered a 223 hp as original equipment, I'm looking through the manual now to see if I can get you any more info.

BW = "engine output variation and final drive" That's all they have in the description, sorry.
L= Left hand (standard) rotation
The two numbers after the L but before the dash inicate the reverse gear ratio, are you sure there is not a 1 before the 0? that would indicate 1:1 ratio, the other options are 15 for 1.5:1, 25 for 2.5:1, etc. The final numbers after the dash is the engine specification number.

Last month we purchased a 1977 25' Trojan. We got it for such an exceptional price, we were pretty alarmed when nothing on the registration seemed to match the information on the nameplate by the engine controls and inside the fuse area under the wheel.

We spent nearly a week thinking we'd probably purchased a stolen boat. My husband said he knew this boat would be a challenge, but didn't know the challenge would start so soon....

We were so relieved when, sitting down at the dock admiring the boat and gazing at the rear of the boat, my husband spied a hull number engraved on the outside/right side of the transom near the water line. WHEW, what a relief!

THis information led us to believe that we'd purchased a 25' Express Cruiser...and one that was NOT stolen!
