capt ross.... i dont think my rabbi will appreciate the oysters or shrimp. as the talmud says, ''thou shalt not........'' what can i say, im a hebrew boater
my vessel even has a mezuzza on her, and, because she is a she, i save money on the bris....lol. now, if a steak house is nearby, ill be there. on my next chs layover, let's meetup. deal?

If a window replacement weekend does develop, I'd be willing, if my schedule allows, to come over and help out. Have 1/mo. military duty in Columbus. Good opportunity to help out my fellow Trojan boat owners & take the learning back to my boat.

I was told this was common on the F36 I guess its common on the f32 also .

Under the h track you will find pieces of standed electrical wire which were used as spacers to to allow for individual fitting of the windows up and down. to change the tightness of the windows in the frames you remove one copper stand at a time and retry the fit for slidability. Usually each window had two 6 inch pices under each h track.

some im searching through looking to remove and replace a cracked slider door glass on a 74 F32, I did a 79 easily but the 74 im having trouble removing, any help please, i changed every port window and all the sliders on my 79 F32 and I cant figure out this older one

THE ONLY WAY I COULD REMOUVE THE WINDOW WITH THE UPPER TRACK OFF IS TO JACK THE ROOF ENOUGHT TO SLIDE THE WINDOW OUT OF THE TRACK BECAUSE WITH THE UPPER TRACK OFF IT STILL MISSING ABOUTH 1/4 INCHE TO REMOUVE THE WINDOW, , FOR THE FIX ONE I HAVE TO CUT ALL THE SCREW AND SLIDE ALL THE FRANE OUT OFF THE BOAT.

It's a simple job. Get a hair dryer, use it on low. Heat either the upper or lower track until you can slide it forward or backward and remove, be careful not to overheat the glass. You can actually separate the layers. Do the same to the other track. You may need to use an exacto knife to loosen.
