Yes this was the boat in Traverse City. I had an offer on another boat (not a 10mtr)that fell thru the day before I looked at this one. This would have been a couple of days after that first weekend-Once the other offer feel apart- I started scouring the net and found this one just before Midnight- I couldn't believe the listing when I saw it-- The next day I was on the phone with the broker at 9am and left immediately for Traverse- arrived around 1 pm- and by 5 had gone thru it with a fine tooth comb. I knew if I dragged my feet this one would be gone because it is the nicest one I have seen in my 5-6 yrs trying to find the right one(at the right price)--I made an offer immediately and 1 week later was doing the final sea trial /survey and close. The day after the close- trucked it back down to Grand Haven- launched and was fishing on it by the weekend(caught 14 Salmon and Steelhead on the break in trip)
I will be holding on to this one for quite some time- however I am a boat freak and will let you know if I see any interesting listings. There is a 10 mtr in the Ozarks with small blocks that can be had for under $20k.-new trannies and low hrs on it.
