I also love the bridge, but I do use my lower helm. I purposely don’t have a bridge enclosure, choosing the lower station in fowl weather. In good weather I want to drive with an unrestricted view with the breeze in my face. If I want shade I open the bimini. I also use the lower station when I fish. We troll at a slow speed, about 2 mph. I use the auto pilot and only need to make occasional course changes. I find it easier to use the lower station rather then climbing the ladder. I like having the option of using either station, but if I had to choose I would take the bridge. If that was the case an enclosure would no doubt be in order.

my better half is trying to talk me out of selling the flybridge. she said that she could sun tan up there during charters. HA! if she's on the boat during a trip she's gonna be working (guess we're on 2 different pages)! if the boat was just going to be used as a family fishing machine i'd keep the bridge.
life is tough! it's even tougher if your stupid.

The advantage you have is, is the folding ladder...stow it up with a sign informing clients to keep off.
As far as keeping the bridge, uh yeah... you'll want it someday.
Better to have it and not need it, then to need it and not have it!

Stripermann2 is right. If you have a place to store the bridge, you would be nuts to get rid of it. You won't be able to find one as complete as yours, if you can find one at all. The cost of shipping is going to eat up a big percentage of the price you would get for yours.Stripermann2 wrote:The advantage you have is, is the folding ladder...stow it up with a sign informing clients to keep off.

I have to agree with every ones comments about your fly bridge. I think you will regret selling it. We love ours. At least keep it in storage and save it for resale. However, if you decide to sell it, would you consider selling some parts, (like the throttle and shift control knobs which I need)
