Will it have a suroof/moonroof panel?/quote]
Yes it will...was thinking of tinted plexiglass mounted permanantly with 5200.
Still undecided though of the possibility of two deck hatches.

Oh, the software is simple CorelDraw X-3 latest version
...and I will document the entire project for sure.

Paul,
I've started out on the same venture for our F32. We should share notes. I'm building my form this weekend and hoping to be ready for glass next weekend. How about instrument pod? Radar mount? Lighting? Electrical route?

Mel...
it will be a while yet before I start, but I will surely keep you posted when I do.
Gotta finish up on some projects I've already begun...
dinette table pedestal, topside refinishing & paint, pulling exhaust manifolds and tanking them, some more lighting, replacing fridge, re-plumbing head, etc. etc.
busy winter thus far.
I putter with my design ideas in the evenings...

A year or two ago someone on here built a hardtop for there 26ft boat and did a really great job and documented the whole project but I can't remember who. Was it chucka?

Your design makes the one I built look like look like a toy...

It looks very professional! I'll be checking for progress.

A shorter top is more fishable when your setting the hook.

I have fished with friends that have full top over the cockpit area to the transom and when setting the hook on a big sturgeon, halibut or salmon using light gear I always wack my pole against the top, That's why I like a short hard top with canvas enclosure over the back deck, it can fold out of the way when I get serious. I guess it's just personal preference.
