Well, we northers may have to take our boats out, but we get to ICE FISH, ICE CLIMB, SHOW SHOE, SKI, and then after December we get to do it ALL OVER AGAIN FOR THE NEXT 4-5 MONTHS UNTIL OUR FREAKING WATER GETS SOFT AGAIN!!!!!! Yeah, nothin beats our part of the world - just so long as the booze holds out....... :(

Yeah I lived in both Rome, NY and Marquette, MI when there were military bases there. And MD is still too cold for me. I'm thinking about Merritt Island...

Yeo this is about as cold as it usually gets where I'm from in SE Texas. And I won't go any further North. Won't be long before those guys up there are talkin' about how much fun they had ice fishin'

already been out on the ice!!! 2 inches friday morning and by late tonight it will be all gone! fresh ice doesn't agree with rain and 39 degree weather. green bay was frozen over yesterday but i'm sure thats gone by now too.
life is tough! it's even tougher if your stupid.

Its just where we live. For the summer months, theres nothing like it. Lake St Clair, Lake Erie, Detroit River Rat here!! I would have a hard time leaving all my buds too
