Here is a model I made last winter. It started as a 2X6 piece of cedar from a back yard project, with balsa, plastic and wire and 3 months later. It's 11 inches long, 5 inches high. The only thing that was something else is the anchor chain, the wife will never miss that necklace. Oh, and all the wood is teak. That's what happens when the real boat is buried for the winter, and the nights are long and dark.
