What a sweet looking F-28. My favorite model. If I ever part ways with the F-26 it would be top on my list. Looks like it's all orginal, too. That upholstery looks to be definitely 70's plaid......

Enjoy this beautiful boat.

She had a wet winder in that pic

She has twin 318's with about 200hrs. on fresh longblocks.

We are dying right now. It is gonna be in the 60's all week, but I know that the second I get her in the water, we are gonna have a month's worth of blizzards!

Aaron- The previous owners have had her MD registered forever, though she is docked in VA. She will be getting new VA numbers shortly.

Randy- Don't fear the plaid. Original upholstery with nary a tear in sight!

foofer- I dun tole her that! Although this has led to the name of the boat....JayBird...much more classy than Nekkid

Hmmm..... Heefus, didn't know you were the new girl;) But I do like our balance... you can continue to handle all the technical stuff & I'll arrange the fun!

Thanks for all the welcomes!! As my dear husband has stated, we both have severe spring fever! The new boat is only 10 minutes from us by water, but thanks to no local bridges it's an hour drive & we've only been on board twice. This weather has been a tease, but for the 50 mph wind gusts. The 'dirty water' (potomac river) calls me & I look forward to getting the boat to the marina we use.

Oh... and as for the meaning behind 'Jaybird'..... It is what my dad called me when I was a little girl, and little girls are allowed to be Nekkid at least for a little bit. I had no idea it even meant that & I promise to keep my suit on!!

The worst fear of a father is that his little baby girl may not grow out of running around nekkid  Nice to have you two on board. My wife "the admiral" gets on here every once in a while but usually I just keep her updated on what's going on here.

I just remembered a song back in the 50's called "ROCKIN' ROBIN" goes,,,,every little swallow, every chickadee,,,,every little bird on Jay Bird street,,,,rockin' robin,,rockin' robin.

Any of you (old) enough to remember that one? :?:
