Spraying Perfection question

dunno about the spraying. I really recommend Interlux Brightside and a handful of foam brushes for painting a small hull. The Interlux thinner is probably best for cleanup and tipping (i.e., when you missed a run after the third or fourth beer), although a light dose of mineral spirits seemed to work OK for me. I've had good results over prepped aluminum or fiberglass -- really darned good results, and without breathing in the atomized stuff that probably has the potential to seriously mess you up long before the beer.
Motors should run. People -- not so much.

Jav and Rossjo, thanks for the heads up on silicone. The mental giants who had her before me tried to glue her together with some sort of household caulk. It was a bear getting it scraped/ground/sanded off. I will try the water beading test before proceeding. The bottom of the hull was sanded down past anything that was on the surface.
