Sea Ya,
Well, it's official, I measured my 1972 F25 from bow to stern and guess what, I have a 1972 F26. My title states that its a F25 but the spec numbers match up with the F26. Also, according to the spec sheets, there was no F25 in 1972, only 25' Marlin and 25' Sea Raider. Thanks for all the info and posting the pictures. My fuel capacity of 54 gallons even matches.
I put some more pictures of my interior online for you. Our boats are almost identical, even the replacment fridge. I also have the 2 burner electric stove just like yours. Mine didn't come with a dog though. Ha!

Thats a nice boat, but not only is it not an F25, but its alot newer...
than ' 71 or 72. I'm guessing 1978??
Whats the last 4 digits of the ser #? on the transom..
Its funny how the 26' costs sooooo much more to dock and ship than a 25'

Cute dog - We taeke ours everywhere as well. She even goes out @ 4am for 60 miles offshore fishing! Loves it - but is afraid of the big Wahoos, Mahi and Tunas in the box!

The last four digits in my Hull Number is 2061.

Do you know of a way to decipher the hull number to get the year? If you do, I'd appreicate if you could let me know what year the boat is based on the hull number, so I can put that known to rest.

hmm

I remember somewhere on the forum I thought there was a chart , but the standardized method for all manufacturers is that the last two numeric digits of the vin correspond to the year of manufacture.
This appeases the insurance gods and makes thefts easier to track..
There may be a letter after this designating a model...
Trojan moulded the numbers in the Transom on the starboard upper corner...usually.
