Well just got home from the boat so here goes. 1)Mears Great Oak Landing on Fairlee Creek, 2) Cheshire's Restaraunt on the Bodkins (they do have a water taxi if needed) 3) Riverdale on the Magothy River (out of business due to a fire and they never rebuilt) 4) Hart-Miller Island if you want to just anchor and party and I also have to agree with RB about Red Eye's nice scenery for me when waiting on the drawbridge to open!

Let us know next time there's a Solomon's get-together. Used to live out there.
In the process of buying an F32 and boy we can't wait until next Spring! We'll be all over the place - Gilligan's in Newburg, MD and Solomon's and Shark Tooth Island and Cobb Island. I really want to go to Tangier as well.

How about Havre de Grace at the top of the Bay it is a nice town lots to do, we stay at Penns landing marina to make reservations you have to call and then call again and again but it has agreat view, Cheasapeke city on the C&D Canal is nice and you need two tour the Canal museum, Deleware City on the C&D canal from there you can grab a tour boat to the deleware fort. Worton creek marina is nice quiet place, Tighlman Island lots of marinas, we like Tighlman Island marina Ron and Nancy are great people and you have to go to Lowes Warf by inflatible or bike great beach bar, also there is the Hyatt Regency in Cambridge very large and kind of corporate setting, has a spa for the ladies $$$, from there you should run up river to the Suicide Bridge restaurant it sits beside the oldest wooden tressel bridge still in use and suposedly 6 people have died there jumping in 60s, If you like to burn fuel you could run the whole way up the Choptank river to Denton ( 50 miles ) nice little town every body new we were coming because the bridge tender called into town, every body waved it reminded me of Chevy Chase in the movie Funny Farm. Cheasapeke Beaches has gambling and a spa, Cristfield is maybe a weekend trip, We love Cape Charles and always stay at Bay Creek Marina they are very nice and we have been able to stay for a week and get special rates. This is not in the Bay but after you go through the locks at Great Bridge there is a marina called Atlantic Yacht Basin there is not much to do but they have acres of old boats under roof that are cool to look at, Manteo in North Carolina is a nice little town.

marinas in middle river
