An amazingly timeless desgn.
You have done a wonderful job with her.
I also have Yanmars and would love to swap performance data with you sometime.
We are running the LP 315 series with downangle gears, swinging 20x20 4blade props.

How does this compare to your data?
Trojan 10 Meter International
Final Sea Trial with corrected propellers
spec weight 12,000
actual weight 18,000
Michigan 4 blade Nibral props 20x20
HJ739 20x20 R4 1.5" Bore No Cup 0.72 DAR Nibral
2 men on board approx 400lbs total
full fuel & water
idle to 3000 time = 6 sec
idle to WOT 13 sec
ZF 63A gear with downangle @ 2:1 ratio
3400 RPM - 22.7 KTS 16 lbs boost
We originally had 21x19 props, but could not make 4050 RPM WOT
Based on your numbers I am curious as to what your WOT is and what ratio gear are you running?
THANKS!

You should take it up to full rpm every once in a while to make sure its turning over the rated RPM and not over proped or over loaded.

Welcome!!!
But, umm, we are going to need atleast 10 more pics of that beauty.
She looks awesome, what kind of $$ approximately to get her painted and what was involved?

The gears are 2.5 to 1 and the rpms at full throttle are 4100
I asked the factory tec that I thought it was a little high and was afraid if something happened it was not going to be covered. But he told me it was ok the boat running lite with only two and very little fuel does 32 knts
Only issue I found out with trial and error was the boat at that speed after 3000 rmps the steering was not very responsive at a sharp turn in either direction . So I had to add 4" out and 6" down to the rudders boat turns perfect now. These boats I guess we're not designed for those speeds.

=======================================
My WOT is 27.3 kts @ 4100 RPM
Seems like her hapiest cruise is at 3300 RPM where the engnes just sng and shee seems to not have any load on her whatsoever. This gets us 23 + kts with a full load.
Now I am wondering if the 2.5:1 ratio swinging the bigger props was a better choice than the 2:1 with the 20x20 wheels.
We didn't wanty to get too large in diameter as to get the prop too close to the hull and cause vibration and other assorted problems.
What is your sweet spot?
Are you running flowscans?
The link to your photobucket is nice, thanks for sharing your information with all of us.

The only thing I didn't buy for the boat was flowscan and in 2004 when diesel was 89cents wasent too worried about it but i looked around and just never came around to buying it mabey I would have saved a few bucks knowing the true fuel burn # but I'm guessing it's at 3400 rpm that's we're the boat feels perfect. When I go to the Bahamas I only burn 50 gallons with full load and six guys full of gear and beer

Forgive all my questions, but sine I repowered in 05-06 you are the only 10 meter owner I have been able to compare notes with running the same engines.
I want to make sure I a doing the best that I can with mine and also want to insure that any information I may pass on to someone else considering the same refit will be the most accurate as possible.
