Talking about the engines . But honestly the boat looks bad

by the looks of it she sat under that shed for a hot minute before they picked her off the bottom and yes those do look look like float bags.... also looks like she sank ass first so i honestly doubt those engines have any hope especially after looking at the pictures...

the only way id personally take that boat if it was free and delivered straight to me, 5k is ridiculous as that's just the cost of the new top.

Too many good, free boats to think about messing with restoring sunken ones, but those 300HP Yanmars could be salvageable for someone with enough enthusiasm and energy. Not worth $5k In my opinion though. Maybe $1,500

that's exactly what i was saying, if no one touched the engines you also don't know how long the boats been sitting up for sale and how old those pictures are, if they took the pictures a day after the incident and the boat sat there for the insurance claim (which the listing does state that the insurance company is selling it) it might have been in limbo for a few months and those blocks might be rusted to hell.

If your read the ad It says
" Engines
It was reported that the engines were to be drained and re-oiled. CSI is unsure if this was done and suggests that the vessel be inspected before bidding."
so maybe maybe not ?

In my opinion, if the insurance company had paid to have it done (to maximize the return on their sale), they would have verified and stated clearly that it was done, so I'd guess it has not been done.

Too risky.

i wouldn't get my fingers crossed... most of these companies dont care about it, they just want to get rid of the burden

I think, the boat sank a year ago, sure would like to have, for a few parts.
