Anybody here able to answer my request

Danforth anchor for Trojan F-32 Sedan - length between eye and bottom chock 25 inches, Width between the anchor clip 4 inches.

What type and weight ??? And maybe any dealer ...

Most the measurements are in the links I posted . Look and see what looks close and maybe contact Danforth for remaining measurements needed .

Get in contact to Danforth - waiting for answers.
Homepage is useless without correct informations about type and weight.

the 2 lower links have measurements for the anchor . should be easy to figure what is the size that is correct.

Heiner, wish I had the answer off the top of my head. I will say this, the 25" measurement you specified doesn't have much importance here since the bolt is used to secure the arm, and it can be placed anywhere along the arm as long as it doesn't interfere with the anchor sitting flat. In other words it could be two inches closer or two inches or so further. The main measurements I think that would help a Danforth representative the most are the ones I mentioned earlier. Have any of the F-32 guys with Danforths offered up sizes for what they might be currently using? If you don't get anywhere with this, you could go by the anchor specs offered by Danforth for your size boat etc, get the anchor, and adjust the mounts to fit once you get it. As long as you seal the old holes properly, you're golden.

My local dealer don't have any anchors in store, so I can not buy any and return

I just would like to use our existing anchor chocks and don't want to drill new holes for it.

Maybe the guy on ebay can give you measurements . I believe the danford site is missing the tip to tip measurements but most others are there .

If the do not respond to your questions maybe I can give them a call ,as there on this side of the pond. Let me know if you want me to make the call .

Hello Prowlerfish - please do me a favour and give them a call with my measurements.
Here in Germany it's hard to get any parts for american yachts (exept Bayliner etc.)

Forget about the eBay-dealer ! He just offer 2 anchors and hundred of thousends other items.

I will give them a call in the am . ( tied up this after noon ) .

Only comment I will make here is some concern about the priority of selecting the anchor to fit the deck hardware.
Were it me I would consider the holding ground in my normal boating zone and then select the best anchor for that use.... if it does not fit the deck hardware I would do away with the hardware

The fact that the deck hardware penetrates the deck surface is a big negative to me..... it is going to require regular re-seating as the motion of the boat and the mass of the anchor will tend to make the screws move.... potential for water entry into a cored deck.

Why not consider using a pulpit or anchor roller on the bow for that new anchor?

How ever you need to measure from the base mount to the tip mounts

Right now its looking like the Danforth 904013 or the 94014 is going to be the one.

No I meant 94014 and 94014 . However they are not what will fit you chocks . spent some time on the phone and found out the tips are apox 2.8 " apart .

The high tensile Danforth 94020 is 3.8" tip to tip on the flukes so thats right it 28.25" long so it will lay down in you set up .

so now its up to the fluke length when you get me the last measurements we will know .
