Prowlersfish-
The boat came with a 312" ford (2 side draft 1 bbl carbs). In the late 50's there were a couple of Chris Craft models that could out-run it, so my Father changed it out to a 1967 425" high compression Olds engine with a quadrajet.

That's what we are still running today, although I put an Edelbrock carb on it a couple of years ago. The last time I tried WOT there was a hellacious backfiring going on so I haven't had the guts to open it up for the last few years. It was running 43 - 45 mph last time I tried it. (before the Edelbrock)

Hey Darrell!

This is Joey Zaloudek from Tera Miranda. I grew up there on the weekends - when you guys were in the big chalet by the ramp.

I've spent countless nights on the Primrose when it was the CareBear - what a great boat!! I think I still have a finger or two messed up that got mashed in that sliding glass door! hahaha!

I recently purchased a 9m International and love the boat - reminds me of all of the Internationals that were around back when I was growing up around Tera Miranda.

We'll have to have our own rendezvous - I know of 2 9m's, one 10m, your 11m, an 11.5m, a 44FBMY, and two 44 expresses running around the lake just off the top of my head. Gene sold a bunch of Trojans!

Cheers and good to see you on the board.

Hey to Joey Z

Hi Joey. I remember you buzzing around in the harbor as a little kid.

I appreciate the shout out, and we'll see you on the water somewhere. We're in Port Duncan now if you're out wandering.
