empty the fresh water tank

add 1 cup of bleach

top off the tank

run water through every line long enough to get the mixture into every hose & valve

leave system alone for 12-24 hours

run tank dry

add clean water

run clean water through every line to get the bleach out

run the tank dry

fill the tank again with fresh water

run it dry once more

now filler up with fresh water and you're ready to go.

no bleach smell or taste

A few oz of bleach in the fresh water will be ok you just don't want to put it stright in the holding tank .

Flush out the fresh water system with bleach and water ,let it sit flush with water fill up and ad a once or 2 of bleach . Thats what I do .
and it seems to work
