The hoses are pretty hidden (more so on the port side) and might be ok until the pressure builds up.

Glad you brought this up Bob. The path those hoses take is close to the belt. There are a couple of clamps that keep them against the block so they don't get cut by the belt. I've seen the clamps break off and have the lines leak from the belt rubbing on them. In every case though, the leaks were evident right away even when cold. Still, something for Crusader owners to monitor.

I took a nice run offshore today to do a bit of snorkeling/floating about.

Boat ran fine with no further oil issues.

I guess it was just the filter leaking.
