you bet. my mechanic john says he is seeing more and more of this as of late.
You all know my feeling on ethanol.

The E in E10 & E15 (egads!) is for EVIL!

Evil-10 ...

Funny how the government forced Ethanol on us "to gain energy independence" (actually it was to support corn farmer's lobby IMO). Now SHELL has TV advertisements bragging about how they get their Ethanol from Brazilian cane sugar! Nice!

Just eliminate Ethanol - bad idea in every way.

phil is running into the same deterioration problems on his lawn care equipment. our new 6kw home genset (bought after the BIG STORM) strictly forbids anything higher than 10%. and here is the real kick in the rubber parts. have you noticed that automotive fuel is creeping up ever so slightly as of late? it's NOT the price of crude. it's because of the drought in the corn belt and corn crop failures. it's time to ditch the corn gas and go back to what we had. i have a question though. IF the corn gas is ditched, and the fuels are mixed on the boat, will that cause problems down the road? i envy the michigan guys that can cross into canada and fuel up with REAL fuel.
