I think you are talking about the white plastic ones if you check West Marine or Defender for wiper motors the covers will be listed there as optional parts, I replaced all my motors and i think i gave the used covers to Aaron, I am not sure he ever used them.

I don't have covers on mine. I did remove and paint the motors and they look fine.

I replaced the old motors with this style, they are wired with two speeds and auto park, it was a pain in the butt to wire.

Had to machine a plate between motor and wind shield frame to hide all the wires

the wires are designed to run through the slot in the window frame extrusion.

However, on my model, they relied on th eactual frame for a ground which can cause problems with age.

I ran each wioer motor wore to a common heavy ground and also grounded the frame with a 10 guage wire to earth.

zero problems since doing so
