Relay

Had the same generator on my 36' sea voyager, my memory is that it was the relay for the start circuit. The armature served as the starter, once the unit started and began generating, the start circuit was de energized by that relay. I am not sure and if your unit has a separate starter, disregard the above. I spent a lot of money trying to keep mine running, The various relays were constantly failing. The later model Mcck (with separate starter) are much easier to maintain. I have the manual for that unit somewhere and would be happy to scan the appropriate section and send to you.
